Holding an FCPS in Histopathology and an MCPS in Clinical Pathology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, she is a dedicated professional with a strong academic background. Dr. Khalid Sheikh has contributed significantly to research, with numerous publications in prestigious journals, showcasing her expertise in various aspects of pathology. Her supervisory role extends to mentoring FCPS residents, MPhil, and MD students, nurturing the next generation of pathologists. Beyond academia, she has played pivotal roles in administrative tasks, project management, and quality assurance initiatives, demonstrating her multifaceted skill set. Dr. Khalid Sheikh's commitment to advancing pathology, coupled with her leadership acumen, underscores her indispensable role in the medical community of Pakistan.

Dr. Nuzhat Mushahid TI(M), a distinguished member of the Advisory and Ethical Board at PRAID AI, boasts a fulfilling career spanning 36 years, during which she has cultivated extensive expertise in clinical pathology, hematology, blood transfusion services, and academics. Her professional journey has been enriched by diverse roles within Pakistan's military and private hospital laboratories, blood banks, transfusion centers, and medical schools for 33 years. As a leader, she has successfully steered teams and operations to reform and develop laboratory and transfusion services in challenging circumstances. Her academic contributions include serving as a faculty member at medical schools, where she imparted knowledge and skills to the next generation of healthcare professionals, participated in curriculum development, and earned a reputation as a popular teacher among students. Additionally, she has supervised postgraduate students and laboratory technologists, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth. She holds a special interest in the application of technology in clinical pathology and transfusion services, which has been instrumental in her contributions to the field. Known for her excellent communication skills and proven track record in leadership and management, she has played a pivotal role at the national level by contributing to the development of national blood policy, standards, and guidelines in transfusion medicine. After retirement, she explored her entrepreneurial spirit by establishing a private blood center with branches of hospital banks, which has been commended by the regulator of the country. Her commitment to excellence, combined with vast experience, positions her as a seasoned professional in pathology and transfusion services.

With two postgraduate qualifications, along with nearly up to a decade of hands-on experience in Histopathology, coupled with numerous scholarly publications, Dr Summaya bring expertise in to our team. She is a consultant histopathologist , fellow of Royal college of pathologist, her main field of research interest include breast pathology and gynecological malignancies.Additionally, she is deeply interested in the intersection of healthcare and technology, particularly in the realm of Artificial Intelligence, and always keen to explore opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into our practice , ensuring safe and timely diagnosis. She is a proactive participant of many successful projects both on local and global scale .

Dr. Manal Rauf

Consultant Histopathologist | Assistant Professor at PIMS

Dr. Manal Rauf is a Consultant Histopathologist and Assistant Professor at PIMS, Islamabad, with M.B.B.S., F.C.P.S., and FRCPath (UK) qualifications. She brings over three years of independent diagnostic experience with subspecialty interests in Head and Neck, gastrointestinal, and dermatopathology. Actively involved in teaching and research, Dr. Rauf is passionate about digital pathology and AI-driven innovation to advance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

Dr. Noor Us Sabah Ahmed

Dr. Noor Us Sabah Ahmed (MBBS, Resident Pathology)

Dr. Noor Us Sabah Ahmed, a proud graduate of Rawalpindi Medical University, is currently training in Histopathology at PIMS with a research interest in Digital Pathology and AI-driven diagnostic tools. Her passion lies in machine learning to augment histological interpretation, particularly in cancer diagnostics. She aims to contribute to the development of data-informed systems that support accuracy and consistency in pathology reporting.

Dr Saher Shafiq

Dr Saher Shafiq (MBBS, Resident Pathology)

Dr. Saher Shafiq is currently doing a residency at PIMS Hospital, Islamabad, in histopathology. She did her MBBS from Foundation University Medical College. She did her house job from Fauji Foundation Hospital. After clearing her FCPS Part 1 in Pathology, She worked as a Resident Medical Officer at Aga Khan Hospital in chemical pathology. After six months, she started her postgraduate residency.

Dr Hammad Naveed

Dr Hammad Naveed (Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, BS (CS))

Dr Hammad Naveed is the part of the Research and Advisory Board of PRAID AI. Hammad Naveed received his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. He spent the following two and half years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the CAS-MPG Partner institute for Computational Biology, Shanghai China and the Computational Biology Research Centre at KAUST, Saudi Arabia. He was a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago from 2014-2017. His research interests lie in several areas of Computational Structural Biology. He is particularly interested in computational identification of novel drug targets, drug repositioning, biophysical modelling of tissues and computational characterization of membrane proteins.
